Check-in and Check-out Policy

Check-in times: 4pm to 7pm. Check-out: 10am on date of departure.

Please note that our check-in times are between 4pm and 7pm. We have a young family and having these check-in times helps us to meet our family’s needs and provide dedicated time to check-in our guests as well. If you are unable to arrive for your check-in between 4pm and 7pm, please call us on 01952432121 at the time of your booking to request a late or an early check-in. We do not have the facilities of a hotel (night / day staff employees to manage out of hours check-ins) so we would ask our guests to please try and arrive between these times. If our guests do arrive early and we or your room is not available yet, then you/ they are very welcome to park in our free, on-site car park and explore the local area before checking-in (please provide your car registration if you would like to do this). If our guests arrive late without prior agreement then we may not be available to check you in; and in these circumstances, we will consider this a “no-show” booking. So please ensure that there is good communication if you think you may be arriving outside our advertised check-in times.

All reservations must be guaranteed by a Valid/Debit or Credit card at the time of booking.

Secure Bookings

A secure booking is one which is secured against a guests debit or credit card details. 

Cancellation Policy

A secured booking represents a contract between the guest and the The Firs Riverside B and B. In the event of a cancellation less than 7 days before 6pm on the day you are due to arrive for your stay, you will be responsible for 100% of the cost of the first night of your stay. People failing to arrive without notification will be responsible for the entire cost of their booking.

Large Bookings cancellation

Group bookings where more than 3 rooms have been booked or Long Stay bookings of 5 nights or more; are subject to separate booking/ cancellation policy: bookings will be subject to 50% deposit and for cancellation less than 14 days before 6pm on the day you are due to arrive for your stay you will be liable for loss of your deposit and for cancellation less than 7 days before 6pm on the day you are due to arrive for your stay you will be liable for 100% of the cost of your stay. Groups/ Long Term Bookings failing to arrive without notification will be responsible for the entire cost of their booking.
  
We strongly recommend that guests take out travel/cancellation insurance.
